For Big and Small
Designing the kindergarten was a challenge, but also a fantastic opportunity. The virtual tour gives parents the chance to explore every corner of the school, get a clear sense of each classroom, the garden, and even the kitchen facilities. At the same time, children can enjoy the tour at their own pace—perhaps on a weekend afternoon at home with their parents. It helps reduce the fear of unfamiliar surroundings, so kids know exactly what to expect when they visit the school in person for the first time. The result? A tour that truly has no equal.
How Did the Collaboration Go?
We arranged with the headmistress and her deputy to do the photoshoot on a weekend when the kindergarten was empty. Everything was perfectly prepared and tidy, so we could start right away. Initially, we planned for the virtual tour to completely replace the school’s website, but in the end, it was decided to integrate it with the new site, where it would take center stage.
Thanks to this, parents and children can explore the full menu, check out the garden, play a folk song with sheet music by clicking on the piano icon, or watch a fairy tale or educational program on the TV screen. An interesting feature in some classrooms is the ability to switch between “play” and “sleep” mode—suddenly, little beds appear on the floor, accompanied by a gentle lullaby.
